The Log Cabin
Bob has a beautiful log cabin that he has been renovating for the last few years.
The dining room BEFORE:
We took down the dated slate tile on the fireplace, replaced it with river rock and added a water feature that runs from the ceiling to floor:
It was a lot of work! But now it’s the focal point of the whole house.
The finished room:
We replaced the table and I covered the existing chairs with slipcovers.
The view from the upstairs loft:
We added the same river rock to the back of the kitchen island and made some lights that shine through wine bottles:
A very cool custom feature Bob added to the kitchen:
We recently added twig knobs to the kitchen cabinets:
The living room BEFORE:
I used the existing sectional, brought in some tables and the ottoman we already had and added color with the accessories:
The downstairs bathroom BEFORE:
Blue fixtures, cracked ceramic tile and bad lighting.
AFTER:
Bob put in a custom vanity and mirror/light combo. Check out the shower:
The shower head is coming out a log…how cool is that?
Can you believe I found “twig” towel and TP holders?
The master bathroom BEFORE:
Who puts pink fixtures in a log cabin????
Bob gutted the whole thing….
The shower if one of my favorite things in the house…when the sun is coming in through the skylight it feels like you’re outside:
The newly organized linen closet:
